Lunch Break Review – Blake’s Shepherd’s Pie

Picked this baby up on a Kroger run. Needed a lunch idea today so I decided to ty it. Can be Microwaved or heated in a conventional oven. I cheated. I zapped it in the microwave for 3 min. and then put it in the oven for 20 min. {I get impatient} .

I like the concept of this family run company. In 1970, they started selling turkey pot pies out of the back of a van. All these years later, Blake’s is still using the best natural and organic ingredients. They’re still making all of the meals by hand and making their own gravy from scratch.

FROM BLAKES: “Great Grandma Clara Blake’s heirloom family recipes have been handed down for four generations. Just like Clara’s original recipe, our Shepherd’s Pie features lots of moist all natural ground beef and organic corn, then topped with freshly made organic mashed potatoes. For years we’ve been making our Shepherd’s Pie for our own family; now it only seems natural for us to be making them for yours.”

Results; It’s VERY good! Very fresh, tasty, well seasoned. You can tell it’s real potatoes. This is definitely worth keeping in the freezer for a back up meal.

I don’t think I can give any frozen meal 5*’s but I’ve give this 4 1/2 *’s.
